How it works

How studying with Stravoris works.

Two ways in, and the same four steps either way. Pick a path and the walkthrough follows it.

Four steps, and the thinking behind each.

Build

Build a session your way.

Pick a subject, then narrow it: topics, difficulty, and how much of it you've already seen. Practice is shaped around what you want to work on, not a fixed set someone else drew up.

Unseen is selected by default, so your time goes to new ground rather than questions you've already answered.

Build a session for the unit.

Pick the unit you're heading to and see the subjects it draws on. Take them one at a time - Pharmacology today, Pathology next - or the whole unit at once.

Questions come fresh first, then the ones you've met least recently. Repeats are welcome here: revising before you start on a unit is the point.

Practise

Study, or sit an exam.

Two modes. Study mode shows the answer and explanation as you go, and with them the hospital units that draw on the question, and why it matters on each. Exam mode is a sealed, timed paper with no feedback until you submit.

Learning and self-testing are different needs, so the two are kept separate.

Study, and see why it matters here.

Unit sessions are study only. The answer and explanation appear as you go, and with them a note on why that question matters on this unit.

You're preparing for a ward, not sitting a paper. The point is to arrive knowing how the knowledge gets used, so the reasoning is shown every time rather than withheld.

Review

Review what matters.

Everything you got wrong and everything you saved collects in one place, scoped by subject. Work back through it, or drill it as a fresh session.

Review is targeted - your own mistakes and the questions you chose to keep, not a rote re-read.

Review by unit.

The same two pools, scoped to a hospital unit - and it covers every question the catalogue links to that unit, wherever you first met it.

Something you got wrong in a Pharmacology session still counts for Nephrology & Dialysis if that unit draws on it. Review follows the unit, not the session.

Progress

Track your progress.

Across subjects and over time, two things come into view: how accurately you're answering, and how much of each subject you've worked through. Open a subject to see it topic by topic. Your daily streak and badges sit at the top, so you can see at a glance whether today counts.

An honest read on where you're strong and where to focus next.

Progress, unit by unit.

Accuracy for each unit you've practised, so you can see how ready you are for the one you're heading to. Your daily streak and badges sit at the top, so you can see at a glance whether today counts.

There's no coverage figure here, and that's deliberate - a unit's set isn't a syllabus you finish. What matters is whether you're getting its questions right.
